We're building the network we wish already existed.
EVs are arriving across India faster than charging infrastructure is. XeZap exists to close that gap — not city by city, but as one connected national network from the start.
OUR MISSION
The largest connected charging network built for India.
Most charging companies either build their own stations or franchise their name out. We're doing both, on purpose — because the fastest way to cover a highway, a housing society, and a state-capital corridor at the same time is to let anyone with the right space join the network, while we build the backbone ourselves where it matters most.
Every state is treated as a core market from day one, not a "phase two" expansion once the easy metros are done. That's the whole point of the name: current that doesn't stop at a state line.
HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT
We looked at the rest of the industry first.
Before writing a line of this site, we looked hard at how the charging networks around us — in India and globally — actually position themselves. Three patterns stood out, and we built XeZap to sit outside all three.
"Pick a lane" networks
Most operators either own every station themselves, or license their brand out entirely and stop there. XeZap runs both models under one hardware and software standard, on purpose.
Franchise economics, hidden
Several networks promote a "host a charger" program without stating clearly how a host actually gets paid. We put the revenue-share mechanics in writing on our franchise page, before you ever fill out a form.
Metro-only thinking
Most networks chase the same six or seven metros first and file the rest of India under "phase two." XeZap's franchise model is built to reach highway towns and state-capital corridors from day one, not as an afterthought.

One standard, everywhere
An owned station and a franchise station should feel identical to the driver plugging in — same app, same reliability, same support.
Anyone with the right space can host
A dhaba on a highway shouldn't need to become a charging company to earn from one. We carry the complexity, not the host.
States are markets, not afterthoughts
Every state runs its own electricity board, tariff structure and connection process. XeZap is built to handle that complexity everywhere, not just in the states that are easiest to launch in first.

AC and DC charger prototypes, the driver app and the host dashboard move from design to working builds.
Founding-city pilot
First owned and franchise stations go live in the initial metro corridors, running on the full platform end-to-end.
Public launch & highway expansion
Open sign-ups for drivers and hosts, and the start of the highway backbone rollout described on the network page.
